Supplier Conversation Manager creates a structured conversation chain for each supplier. Notes are stored under the Questionnaires tab in the supplier profile, where authorized users can retrieve them at any time.

HOW IT WORKS

Each step remains visible, structured and attached to the supplier.
Start the Conversation
The buyer manually sets the status to Conversation Started. This opens a new conversation chain for the supplier.
Capture Every Interaction
For every call, meeting or important email, the user records the conversation date and the relevant content. Supporting documents can be attached where required.
Keep the Complete History
All Conversation Notes are listed in chronological order. Authorized users can reopen the supplier profile and immediately understand what happened and what still requires attention.
Mark the Conversation as Ongoing
As communication continues, the status is manually changed to Conversation Ongoing. This provides a clear indication that follow-up is still required.
Complete the Conversation
Once the communication with the supplier is finished, the buyer manually sets the status to Conversation Completed.
Review the Entire Chain
The complete conversation chain can be reopened from the supplier profile whenever it is needed—during a supplier review, an escalation, a handover or an audit.
Export and Print
The complete conversation chain can be exported to Microsoft Excel in chronological order and printed when a physical or external record is required.
REPORTING & ADMINISTRATION
Visibility across suppliers—and a clean restart when needed.
A report shows the current Conversation status for every supplier where the process has been started. Once a conversation chain is no longer required, an administrator can delete it using SAP Ariba Admin Tools. A new chain can then be started.
